Girl In The Green Dress European Tapestry
Girl In The Green Dress is a Belgian made jacquard woven wall tapestry. The original comes from a painting called Young Lady with Gloves (1930) by Tamera De Lempicka (1898-1980). She was born as Maria Gorska in Warsaw and was a Polish Art Deco painter and the first woman artist to be a glamour star. Her distinctive and bold artistic style developed quickly and referred to "soft cubism" and "synthetic cubism." Her style epitomized the cool yet sensual side of the Art Deco movement. Her technique is novel, clean, precise, and elegant.
