Armada Bayeux European Tapestry
Armada (Bayeux) is a jacquard wall tapestry woven in Belgium. This tapestry portrays a large part of the Norman fleet in the battle of Hastings. This is a part of an 11th century tapestry now on display in the Museum of Bayeux, France. The entire tapestry measures 70 meters in length and represents the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy in 1066.
