Claude Monet Trees Belgian Tapestry Wall Art
Claude Monet Trees is a Belgian made jacquard tapestry. It is a reproduction of the impressionist painting by Claude Monet from 1891. This scene shows a windswept landscape providing a magnificent sense of movement. The foliage of the trees is seen flowing to the left, as are the grasses below. The clouds are formed and thick in the sky, and provides a sense of atmosphere. Also known as Poplars (Wind effect), this work is one of the many works Monet created in the summer and autumn of 1891 and were based on locations in the marshes along the banks of the Epte river, close to the home of Monet himself. This piece adds a sense of whimsical natural beauty to any area to which it is displayed.
