Woven in Belgium by expert weavers, our Degas Danse a la Ville Tapestry Cushion Cover depicts an iconic dancing couple echoing the surreal scene of the artist’s original painting. Edgar Degas loved danced scenes whether it be the ballet or ballroom. The original two paintings were created as a duo; the format identical and almost life-size figures. The couple here is rendered in dramatic contrasting shades of white dress and black tux. The cushion cover is woven in a cotton/viscose blend with gold thread.
